Funding Assistance and Project Administration
Tennessee Engineering Group is able to offer our clients the services of a professional experienced project administrator. Our administrator has over 30 years of experience with extensive grant and loan experience.
Our firm will coordinate all financial activities for the client on a government financed project to ensure that all requirements of the state and/or federal funding agency are met and the project progresses.
Prepare grant and loan applications – process will vary with each program but may include, but not limited to:
- Prepare public notices regarding client intent to undertake project and file applications.
- Prepare filings to gain standing on funding priority list and prepare standard Federal/state application forms.
- Submit information to state clearinghouse for review and to appropriate Area Development District Water Management Council for inclusion of project in State database.
- Develop project-funding schedules that identify funding activities for client.
- Provide guidance to client’s attorneys for property acquisition requirements of funding agencies and other legal documentation required.
- Prepare and/or coordinate the completion of various documents required by funding agencies such as operation and maintenance plans, revised budgets based on actual bids, engineering reports, and status reports.
- Prepare monthly request for payments to appropriate funding agency.
- Maintain project books, communicating with funding agency staff, client, and project managers on funding commitments and fund balances.
- Guide client personnel on proper banking and audit tracking required by funding agencies.
- Prepare rate analysis and rate recommendations for retail and wholesale water and wastewater customers.
